The Bastille Day Dog Parade

On July 12, we’re debuting a brand new parade in partnership with L’Alliance New York @lalliancenyand presented by VEG ER for Pets @veg called… Le Carnaval des Animaux. 🇫🇷

Though for those still working on their French, “The Bastille Day Dog Parade” works, too.

This French-themed pet parade and costume competition will take over Madison Avenue on July 12 between 59th and 60th Streets, kicking off at 12:15 PM. With a costume competition at 1:30pm.

Of course, berets are welcome! We also encourage you to think beyond the classic beret/stripe combo. We’re envisioning dogs dressed as French delicacies, French art, French fashion, classic cinema! We have our fingers crossed for at least one croissant pug!!! 🤞🐶 🥐
