Learn how to provide temporary, urgent care to pets in emergencies in this fun, small group class that includes a free first aid kit.

CPR, trauma, bleeding, choking, burns, seizures, allergic reactions, poisoning and more are covered in this thorough an interactive class that allows you to practice on stuffed animals. Helpful pet training tips, disaster preparedness, and personal safety precautions are also covered to help pet owners identify and minimize risks.

The class is taught by cetified instrtuctot and Waggytail Rescue founder Holly DeRito who was inspirrd to teach after rescuing a drowned dog from the Prospect Park pond in 2019.

You’ll learn and get to practice skills on complient stuffed animals and a real CPR dummy dog.

*This course is not a replacement for veterinary care and is meant only as an aid until professional veterinary care is available.*
