Washington Square Park Dog Run Clean Up

DOG RUN CLEANUP SATURDAY NOVEMBER 4 9AM
Listen up! Our next cleanup is Saturday November 4 at 9am (rain date Sunday November 5).

I am disappointed to let you know that no one showed up to clean up the big run on rainy Saturday or sunny Sunday (although some work was done before I got there at 9am Sunday, thank you). Please mark November 4 in your calendars. The more people we have the easier it will be to get the run back in shape. Thanks to the small run crew as always!

If you are in the large run and want to do a bit of work, you can:

– sweep the cement areas at both exits so the concrete is exposed
– rake the excess surface that results either into the center of the run or (in the case of the park side exit) under the cement seating areas against the wall
– sweep out the surface that is under the tree round and distribute it around the tree
– rake leaves

We’ll need to do some more shoveling and wheelbarrowing on November 4 so do show up! Thank you!
