The Feast of St. Francis Day & Blessing of the Animals
Come celebrate The Feast of St. Francis Sunday, October 5, 2025. All pets and people are welcome to this beloved annual tradition honoring St. Francis of Assisi the patron saint of the environment and ecology. The day begins with a worship service at 10:30am featuring the Procession of the Animals music by Artist in Residence Paul Winter and dance by Forces of Nature.
The service will also be livestreamed for those wishing to join from home. The video will be available on stjohndivine.org and on the Cathedral’s YouTube channel.
Following the service will be the Fair and Pet Blessings, held rain or shine.
Passes for these events are not required.
Everyone is welcome to participate.
