Pet First Aid and CPR with free kit!

Knowing how to respond quickly in an urgent event could save your pet’s life!

This comprehensive class will teach you how to provide potentially life saving urgent care to pets until they can reach a veterinarian.

Learn potential life saving techniques including: vital sign assessment, CPR, bleeding, puncture wounds, burns, frostbite, seizures, shock, and poisoning. You’ll also learn useful preventative care including simple training tips, and how to “life hacks” with inexpensive household items.

The interactive class is taught by Waggytail Rescue founder who was inspired to certify in and teach after rescuing a drowned dog from the Prospect Park pond in 2019.

While your own friendly pets are more than welcome at Boris and Horton – a dog friendly cafe and accessories shop, you’ll learn and pratice on compliant stuffed animals and a real CPR dummy dog.

*This course is not a replacement for veterinary care and is meant only as an aid until professional veterinary care is available.*
