Doggy and Me Yoga: A Fun-Filled DOGA Experience 🧘🏻♀️🐶
Join us for a unique and invigorating experience that combines the benefits of yoga with the joy of spending time with pups. Doggy and Me Yoga is a 45-minute class where you can bond and stretch with pups, while finding inner peace together. You’re welcome to bring your own pup, if you’d like! 💖
📍Location: Le Doggie Cool – 149 Wythe Ave, New York, NY
📆 Dates and Times:
Sat 6/15, Sat 6/22, Sat 6/29, Sat 7/6 and Sat 7/13.
- All classes start promptly at 1:00 PM (please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in).
✨ Class Details: During this DOGA class, you’ll learn a variety of yoga poses and techniques that promote relaxation, strength, and harmony. While the class is designed to incorporate dogs, it is open to participants with or without their furry friends. This inclusive class welcomes individuals of all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis, who are looking to enhance their yoga practice and enjoy a unique and rejuvenating experience.
🥂 The ticket includes a Mimosa or Lemonade.
💖 Materials: Yoga mats will be provided for your convenience, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer. Additionally, if you’re bringing your pup, you can bring any necessary items for his/her comfort, such as a leash and treats. We provide communal water bowls, but you can bring your own as well. We kindly request that you also remember to bring poop bags for responsible pet ownership.
🧘🏻♀️ Instructors:
- Rita: Rita is a Queens, NY native and former owner of OmmVibe yoga studio – Among her many hats she is above all a homeschooling mama to her vibrant daughter and fur baby. Completing her 200 RYT in 2014 followed by Yin and Kids yoga trainings she shares yoga with all ages. She teaches mindfulness through nature, sustainability, sound healing and sharing about the benefits of plants and the various uses they have to young children. In her downtime you can find her dabbling in different modalities that promote wellness and heaXAaling or making jewelry from nature’s gems.
- Megan: Megan is a full time NYC yoga instructor for 9 years and counting! It is her passion to bring its practice to as many people and populations as possible. Her vinyasa classes are always focused on logical, intuitive flows that are feel good and fun for all levels. Megan loves dogs and even has a dog instagram account in honor of all of her furry friends. She loves to teach doggy & me yoga because it is a perfect example of how life can surprise you at any moment- it’s all about how we go with the flow, do our best, and have some fun along the way.
