The Corgis are taking over Boris & Horton for an extra *spooky* Halloween meet up! What’s better than a Corgi? A Corgi in costume, of course! Join us for the Halloween Corgi meet up and show off your pups best costumes! Bring your Corgi to mingle and let the fluffy butt sniffing begin! Don’t have a Corgi? Corgi lovers welcome, too! Delicious food & drinks for you and your pup will be available to order all night!

MULCH, MULCH, MULCH!!! It’s time to mulch the dog run. Mulching helps with the dirt dust and covers all the scraggly rocks.

Note: about 2 tons of mulch needs to be shoveled into wheelbarrows and spread over approximately 11,000 square feet of dog run. The city doesn’t do this. We, the dog run community does. The more volunteers we have, the faster it will get done. So please, if you use the dog run then come help for at least an hour.

Halloween—but make it Meatpacking! 🎃 Join us for Treats in the Streets, where the whole family (yes, even your pup!) can enjoy fall festivities. Expect candy, games, live music, and the 6th Annual Doggie Costume Contest! Stores and restaurants across the neighborhood will be open, offering special goodies and surprises at every stop. Stroll through the district to fill your bags with festive delights from participating businesses.

11:30 AM – 12 PM: The Old Yew Plant Shop Workshop

• Create, plant, and take home your plant & pot combination with The Old Yew Plant Shop! At this plant potting workshop, The Old Yew’s experts will walk you through plant selection, pot pairings, and a step-by-step, hands-on guide to potting plants with fresh soil. You will discuss ongoing care, watering, fertilizing, pruning, and future repotting. You can also ask any care questions about your current plants at home.
